Tales, folklore and stories are fundamental to many cultures throughout the world. History, genealogy and customs have been passed down through the mediums of tales, folklore and stories.
Mushrooms is a story about some of the many types of mushrooms that exist. Tree ear, star, saddle and many other mushrooms join in to elect a president. The story goes on to survey some of the types of mushrooms.
The Mushroom story can be used as an educational lesson plan with the following possibilities.
