Stories based on their content can be used in one or more are for information, healing, awareness, enlighment, history or knowledge.
Fish Convention, a fish identification based story, gives the reader a small glimpse ofr the aquatic world. Puns, similies, and metaphors describe the characters in this story.
There are many possibilities for lesson plans to be used with this story. Here are a few:
1. List each fish and tell where it can be found.
2. Do an art project by drawing, taking pictures, painting, stitching, sewing, etc. one or more types of fish.
3. Find stories that are dedicated to one fish only. Make a list of these stories.
4. Which fish are used in ceremonies and celebrations?

These are only a few possibilities for curriculum for the Fish Convention story.
